This collection explores the creator's concept of "refuge": the sensation of returning to the countryside home in the summer, as a safe space, taking refuge in memories, seeking comfort in the familiar things, in the beauty of routine and simple things, in her family and its traditions.
With a simple, naive, fresh and Mediterranean aesthetic, this collection is inspired by the beauty of everyday life, the simple acts of everyday life, which are perfomed almost like a ritual. It is an ode to the simple, the slow, the ordinary, the value of the process handmade things.
"Refugio" also inspired by upholstery, household items and intimate clothing, and it aims to create a feeling of comfort, understanding the garment as a refuge for the body. It is achieved through relaxed silhouettes, pleasant fabrics to the body (viscose, cotton, modal ...), and a color palette that breathes freshness, warmth, summer and country house.
Both the color palette and the patterns are drawn from her village house and the countryside (olive trees, kitchen towels, sofa upholstery, curtains, tiles ...). The collecions shows a mix of patterns, fabrics, colors and trimmings to reinforce the homely, fresh and spontaneous aesthetic typical of houses.
Handmade techniches like crochet are another important part of the collection, reinforcing the value of artisan techniques.
